WOOOHOOOO It’s friday!  ::happydance::

My plans this weekend include:

1. Visiting my momma in the hospital… (scary stuff went down a couple of weeks ago and I’m not ready to blog about that just quite yet)  BUT she’s recovering!!  Thank God.
2. Sewing-  I have one maxi dress on my table that I hope to finish tonight and one special project for one special sister.  I am *hoping* to successfully recreate this bag:

It’s the newest *it* bag (according to my stylish sister…I have NO concept of what’s IT and what’s not- so I’ll take her word for it)  and it’s the knock-off of the Celine clutch:

So hopefully I can re-create this bag without too much hassle.  It LOOKS easy enough, right?  RIGHT?  Yeah- I’m testing out on scrap fabric first. 

Other than that it’s happy relaxing weekend for me…with wine!

Today I’ve discovered  Tip Junkie, a blog that has just about everything you need.  She also has many posts about how to blog successfully!  This is perfect for me- a baby blogger.  So I’m linking these for anyone who might be interested in dipping a toe into the  bloggy pool.  She has tons of articles and links for how to build a blog and fill it with entertaining super duper important stuff…like wine and sewing.
